As Above, So Below…
As Below So Above…
Here are Sounds of Outer and Inner Space, practiced with the Milky Way form at the recent Tensegrity workshop in Joshua Tree. This arrangement of sound was compiled by the Infinity Players, with Wayne Dylan as chief sound engineer.
The first minute is to accompany the first part of the Milky Way form, practiced with the Left Body, in the lead; according to seers, the left body has a wavelike energy, and is more attuned to feeling, and to our energetic twin, which seers call the energy body. In that section you will hear sounds of the encounter with “Outer Space,” including: “The Wailing of the Leonids,”(meteors crossing the earth’s atmosphere, leaving behind a short trail of ionized particles that reflect high-frequency radio signals from stations around the world); “The Sound of the Sun” (sped up 42,000 times); and “Dawn in Space,” the sound of high-energy electrons in the earth’s radiation belts accelerated by the electromagnetic field; and other sounds.
In the next section segment (beginning at 1m00s), you will hear sounds from inside the human body, practiced with the portion of the form in which the Right Body is in the lead. Seers maintain that the Right Body has a circular energy, and is more attuned to the self, to orderly routines, and to accomplishing the goals of the daily world. Among the sounds heard in this section are: “A lung that sounds like a baby crying,” “An intestine that sounds like a rainforest,” as well as the movement of blood that sounds like a river.
In the third section (starting at 1m42s) you will hear a blending of these sounds, to accompany the very enhancing interplay and integrated awareness of Above and Below, Stars and Earth, energy body and self, the Left Body and Right Body, feeling and action, in the third part of the form.
These sounds can be enjoyed as sounds to accompany the Milky Way Form, or simply for listening!
